AVG FALSE POSITIVE TROJAN HORSE 2017 UPDATE
I’ll update this post as soon as I learn more about this condition. I’m assuming this is a false positive, even though I would equate anything made by Adobe as a virus. I dont know if I really have a trojan or what I am not symptomatic at all I run avg, firewall, spybot spyware blaster ad aware. This morning, I began getting reports that AVG antivirus on multiple machines on multiple networks began flagging FlashUtil10a.exe as the Trojan Horse virus. I have written AVG repeatedly about this and they have yet to answer my emails. AVG8.5 Free detected them as: 'Trojan horse ' They came up as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (which was scanning at the time) went over them, thus the process in my Resident Shield. 'Please be informed that this false positive detection will be removed in next virus database update (3205 and newer) - will be probably released in the evening (CEST).' That would be. for that file they did not detect anything in the day before. This email we send you the fully healed file, that is currently notĭetect by any other Anti-Virus.The plot thickens the next day after booting system, avg comes up with Threat Detected! Trojan horse Patched_c.UK.

Something must have changed, regardless of what he said. This weekend (for those of you that observe Daylight Saving’s Time). Curious as to why when I scan with AVG Free, my fmod.dll from ZDoom 2.1.6 has no threats associated with it. Spring is just around the corner! With that Said, don’t forget to spring ahead Solution: Everyone - I have heard directly from AVG Business support that this issue has been resolved.
